A Stepping Stone is a program that provides support to individuals and families who are going through transition periods in life. We recognize that there are significant barriers and unmet needs in our community. To help people achieve their goals, overcome obstacles, and cope with hardships, Uniquely Different offers case coordination and referrals to scholarships, internships, and mentorship opportunities.

A Stepping Stone workshops address the socio-economic barriers that families and individuals experience in education, careers, health, housing, and accessing resources. The program aims to build resilience and self-sufficiency for people who are relocating, veterans, senior citizens, and/or special populations residing in Forsyth County and Guilford County.

We offer our outreach services throughout the year, and we schedule intake appointments on the fourth Tuesday of every other month (February, April, June, August, October, and December).
